Hey there! Long time-no-update.

Progress So Far:

Right now, mechanics are almost entirely ironed out! Yay! Shown below are two recent builds, the footage is choppy however that's due to running the recording software and game at the same time on my old laptop. I will make an effort to record gameplay footage exclusively on my desktop from now on.


As you can see lights and key triggers have been re-implemented! As well as a slight parallaxing environment effect.


Now it's on to Art Production and level layouts!

Art Production list (in order of priority):

  • Further Seraph Animations
  • Finished Enemy Designs
  • Enemy Animations
  • Environment Art
  • UI and Menus
  • Final Music Compositions

Now, as for handling animations for the enemies, I've enlisted the work of talented friend and peer David Keller! Here is the rough animation he has done for Flare at the moment!
