Alpha Build Reflection


After receiving valuable feedback from my first Alpha build, I'm jazzed to continue working and tweaking current assets!

Things to add: 

  • Animations
  • Finished Art Assets
  • More obvious light obstacles

Animations: At the time of publishing the Alpha I needed to create the running, jumping, and damage animations.

Finished Art Assets: The Alpha mostly had white-boxed assets using the 2D Gamekit Template, Artwork depicting the environments hadn't been made yet.

More obvious light obstacles: The use of light as a threat hasn't been made quite as intuitive until someone runs into it.
